Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TechVerse Limited ("TechVerse", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in Hong Kong. By downloading, installing, or using any TechVerse mobile application, visiting our website, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms apply to all users of TechVerse services, including visitors to our website, users of our mobile applications, and authorised personnel accessing our internal advertising management platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will indicate changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where material, by in-app or email notification.

2. Description of Services

TechVerse provides two categories of services:

Mobile Applications: TechVerse develops, publishes, and maintains mobile applications distributed through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Our portfolio of 20+ apps spans productivity, lifestyle, and entertainment categories and has achieved over 50 million cumulative downloads. Features, content, and availability vary by app and may change without notice.

Internal Advertising Management Platform: TechVerse operates a proprietary, internal-use software platform that integrates with the Google Ads API and other advertising platforms to manage, report on, and optimise user acquisition campaigns for our own mobile applications. This platform is not a commercial product and is accessible only to authorised TechVerse employees.

3. Google Ads API Usage Terms

Our internal advertising platform uses the Google Ads API in compliance with Google's policies. By using any TechVerse service that interacts with Google systems, you acknowledge the following:

• Authorised Use Only: Access to our advertising platform is restricted to TechVerse employees with express authorisation. Unauthorised access is strictly prohibited and may constitute a criminal offence.
• Data Handling: Advertising data retrieved via the Google Ads API is used solely for managing TechVerse's own campaigns. It is not shared externally, sold, or used for any purpose beyond internal campaign management and reporting.
• Restricted Use: We do not use Google Ads API data to build competing products, develop or improve AI/ML models unrelated to our campaign operations, or engage in any activity prohibited by the Google Ads API Terms of Service.
• Compliance: All Google Ads API operations comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, Google Ads API Terms of Service, and applicable advertising regulations in each jurisdiction we operate in.

TechVerse maintains a Google Ads developer account and accesses the API using OAuth 2.0 authentication under a Manager Account (MCC) structure. All API credentials are stored securely and subject to regular security review.

4. User Accounts and Responsibilities

Some TechVerse apps may require account creation. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and current registration information.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised account access at thuyly.hmu@gmail.com.

You agree not to use our services to: violate any applicable laws or regulations; infringe upon intellectual property rights; transmit malware or harmful code; attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with our services; or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, software, graphics, trademarks, trade names, and other intellectual property associated with TechVerse's mobile applications, website, and advertising platform are owned by or licensed to TechVerse Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws in Hong Kong and internationally.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use our mobile applications for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of any TechVerse software or content without our express written consent.

6. App Store Terms

Our mobile applications are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Your use of those platforms is governed by Apple's and Google's respective terms of service, which take precedence over these Terms with respect to app distribution and billing. Any in-app purchases are processed by the relevant app store and subject to their refund and billing policies. TechVerse is responsible only for the functionality of the app itself, not for app store services.

7. Advertising Services

TechVerse uses advertising networks (including Google Ads, Google AdMob, and Meta Ads) within our apps and to promote our apps. With respect to advertising:

• In-app advertising is served by third-party networks under their own terms and privacy policies.
• Our internal campaign management platform accesses advertising data solely to manage campaigns promoting TechVerse's own applications — no third-party advertiser data is accessed or stored.
• Reporting and analytics generated by our platform are for internal use only and are not shared externally without data anonymisation.
• We comply with applicable advertising regulations, including those of the Hong Kong Trade Descriptions Ordinance, and platform-specific advertising policies.

8. Data Processing

Advertising and analytics data processed through our internal platform is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Data retrieved via the Google Ads API is used exclusively to: monitor campaign performance, generate internal reports, optimise bids and budgets, and diagnose campaign delivery issues. Data is not used to profile end users beyond what is required for aggregate performance analysis. All data processing activities comply with Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) where applicable.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TECHVERSE LIMITED AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR HKD 500, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TechVerse Limited and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of our services in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights; or (c) any content you submit through our services.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong. You waive any objection to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also provide in-app notifications or email notice where feasible. Your continued use of our services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
